Kenneth Lord has spent nearly two decades helping individuals, groups and communities maximize their potential by organizing their resources. Mr. Lord has conducted numerous workshops and seminars teaching transformational development and stress management.
Applying these skills to the business world, he has built successful companies in the areas of real estate, film production and health.
In recent years he has harnessed his talents as a public speaker and entrepreneur to serve his philanthropic interests. In 1997, he was the executive director of the non-profit organization Choices International, which educated medical and psychotherapist professionals in personal growth principles and techniques that addressed post traumatic stress syndrome. Choices International’s positive impact in Kosovo in 1999 inspired him to found Africa As One.
After having co-produced and spoken at two peace conferences, he is planning a four-hour, star-studded Africa As One World Peace Tour to be held in Los Angeles in October of 2008.
Mr. Lord currently sits on the Board of Directors at Trilogy Financial Inc., The Writers Source International LLC, First Legacy Pictures, Resolve Products Inc., Alliance for Humanity and Africa as One.

Bert Rosenthal has extensive experience overseeing non-profit healthcare administration with a focus on budgetary viability.
In 2000, Dr. Rosenthal was appointed by Franklin, Prudential and other creditors of California’s ailing Vista Hospital Systems to step in as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, replacing previous management. In doing so, Dr. Rosenthal assumed responsibility for a non-profit conglomerate of four hospitals with a staff of 1,800, a market value of $50 million and a net revenue of $130 million.
Dr. Rosenthal got Vista out of default by adding $50 million in new net revenue, and raised EBIDA from less than $5 million to approximately $21 million. By December 31, 2003, Vista sold to Universal Health Systems (NYSE) for $121 million. In addition to serving as President of Vista’s Board of Directors from 1998 to 2000, Dr. Rosenthal also presided over the boards of Permian HealthCare, Inc. in Colorado from 1990-2003 and Northside Operating Company in Illinois from 1997-2001.

Professor Hansch uses his academic expertise in public health and foreign aid to work with humanitarian and non-governmental organizations, promoting solutions to problems affecting the poorest and most vulnerable populations of sub-Saharan Africa. Throughout his 25-year professional career, Steve has engaged entrepreneurially in over 50 developing countries with a wide spectrum of humanitarian aid actors, including relief and development NGOs, bi-lateral and multi-lateral donors, universities, government, the military and private sector actors. Ms. Bowen specializes in international trade, food aid and humanitarian assistance. The Bowen Group, which she started in 1991, counted among its clientele, citizens of countries undergoing insurgency movements. In documenting their narratives and advocating their position before the executive and legislative branches of the U.S. Government, she gained a deep understanding of the political and logistical realities that pose problems for aid organizations. Ms. Bowen also has experience drafting legislative strategy; monitoring the actions of Congress; representing clients before state legislatures, city councils, political parties and government staffs; strategic planning for media events and public speaking. Ms. Tschoegl has distinguished herself as an academic and demonstrated her flexibility as a researcher. As a fellow at the Centre for Research on the Epidemiology of Disasters, she has focused on the health situations of refugees in Africa and Asia. She also gathered and analyzed data that formed the basis for the Water for Peace project in Sudan, and is working to improve data collection methods for use in future water and sanitation projects.

Muriel Glasgow was employed by the United Nations Children's Fund from 1966-1998. The various positions she occupied within this organization allowed her to live and work in a number of locations including Haiti, Togo, Madagascar and New York. In addition to overseeing multi-million dollar infrastructure and education programs, Ms. Glasgow crafted emergency aid strategies for women and children, negotiated debt relief packages between banks and local governments, and brokered project partnerships between UNICEF and various NGO’s. She is at ease liaising between government ministers, international businessmen, community organizers and ordinary families.

Keith Cooper – Development Director International

Mr. Cooper is a West Point graduate whose resume includes logistical and international assignments, executive-level leadership, and work for the Pentagon. His career path has equipped him with an impressive variety of skills in synthesized training, logistics, administration, tactical operations, and leadership of a military unit with a multi-million dollar annual budget.
Mr. Cooper is currently the Acting Deputy Commandant at the US Army Command and General Staff College in Fort Leavenworth. Hired in 2006, he has led the drive to streamline operations while managing a staff and faculty of 725 people, with an annual budget of $63 million. By developing controls that reduced the hiring time of qualified employees by 60 days, he has cut administrative costs by thousands of dollars. He also established a senior-level working group to pinpoint and correct the problems of the newly formed Civilian Education System, a measure that enabled the college to initiate its primary education program for thousands of personnel months ahead of schedule.
Previously, Mr. Cooper served as Chief of Staff in the First Infantry Division of the U. S. Army in Europe. He successfully orchestrated the transfer of 8,000 personnel and 2800 pieces of equipment from Germany to the U. S. while simultaneously leading the planning that prepared an additional 4,000 personnel in the unit for a mission in Iraq. He was able to identify efficiencies during the move that saved the Army over $8 million, while ensuring that the Iraq-bound soldiers reported for duty ahead of schedule. Mr. Cooper considers unity of effort and continuity of operations among staff members to be two key components of a highly functioning organization.

In 1998, he graduated with a degree as a Doctor of Integrated Medicine from Capital University, (CUIM), Washington, DC. He is a professor of Dental Integrative Medicine, a fellow in the American Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) and also serves as the Provost at CUIM.
